Cherishing the Holiday Season

December has flown by and with only a couple more weeks of the holiday season I’m cherishing every moment! I’m finally out of classes and this means trying new holiday recipes, shopping for presents and spending time with those I love!

I’m sharing with y’all some delicious and easy holiday cocktail recipes, holiday cookie recipes, and where to find all the best sales and last minute Christmas gifts.

Holiday Cocktails

I love myself a good Moscow Mule, Moonshine Mule or really any spin on a Mule. Erin from, The Speckled Palate, is sharing a delicious holiday spin on the Mule called the Cranberry Mule. Her delicious Mule calls for Rum and is perfect for any holiday party! Just click over to her page for the recipe!

The Cranberry Mule is a fun take on the more traditional Moscow Mule. Perfect as a Thanksgiving cocktail, this drink calls for cranberry, ginger beer and spiced rum, then is topped with sugared cranberries as garnish. #Thanksgiving #Blogsgiving2015 #cocktail

The next holiday cocktail that I discovered through Pinterest, and have been dying to try, is Meghan’s Christmas Sangria! One usually associates Sangria with the summer, but why not bring a little tropical vibe into the holiday season. On Meghan’s blog, Cake n Knife she shares the yummy recipe for Christmas Sangria that calls for your choice of white wine and of course cranberries! Head to her page for the full recipe!
